WHAT WE BELIEVE?
The Bible is the unique, inspired, and infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
Every person is created in the image of God; is loved by God; sins against God by disobeying Him (Genesis 1:27, 1 John 4:9-10, and Romans 6:23).
Sin separates man from God, which brings death; can only be forgiven by means of a perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 9:22, Romans 6:23, and 1 John 1:5-10).
God sent His only son Jesus to be the sacrifice for the sins of all mankind (John 3:16 and Hebrews 9:28).
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin; lived a sinless life; was both God and man; died for our sins; arose from the dead; ascended into Heaven; will return to judge all mankind (Isaiah 7:14, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 10:30, Romans 5:6, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 1 Timothy 3:16, and John 5:22-23).
Salvation is wholly a gift from God; available all men; a promise to all who have faith in Jesus Christ; repent of their sins by changing their life’s direction toward Christ; confess their faith in Christ before men; are baptized in water for the forgiveness of sins; continue to grow in a life of faithfulness (Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Peter 3:9, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 7:9-11, Matthew 10:32-33, Acts 2:38;42).
The Church is made up of all who have believed in and obeyed Jesus Christ; the bride of Christ; the body of Christ, of Which He is the head; under the oversight of elders; commissioned to seek the lost and to edify the saved (1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 2 Corinthians 11:2, Ephesians 1:22-23, Acts 20:28, Matthew 28:18-20, and Ephesians 4:1-16).
