Help the People of Haiti. If you would like to go to Kokomo, IN to help bag supplies for the relief effort, we will be leaving Saturday, March 6 at 6AM. Bring a sack lunch. Contact or email Julie Higgins (higgins@conxxus.com) for more information.
 
Collecting for the Food Bank in March: canned fruit (please no outdated or opened items)
 
Paxton Area Senior Club for Active Seniors: every Thursday starting March 4th from noon - 2pm at the Paxton Civic Center, there will be a variety of activities (door prizes, guest speakers, bingo, bunco, chess, cards, etc.) for those aged 55+. Also, there will be a potluck the first Thursday of every month. No fees except for day trips. Call 379-4203 ext. 3 from 9am - 2pm Mon. thru Fri. for more information.
 
"Fearless: Imagine Your Life Without Fear" is a new study starting on Wednesday, March 3rd, at 6:30 P.M. in the Salt classroom (by the office). The lessons are based on the book, Fearless, by Max Lucado. Please sign up as soon as possible on the sheet on the table. John Davenport is the leader.
 
Steve and Vicki Schnebly are collecting General Mills box tops, and UPC codes from Campbell's products and My Coke reward codes from Coca-Cola products for the Lakota Indian Children at St. Joseph's School in Chamberlain, SD. There is a basket on the table in the foyer for those items.
 
Weight Watchers: Weight Watchers will meet here in the Fellowship Hall on Tuesday mornings starting January 26th at 9:30AM, and lasting 30 minutes. If you would like to join, please be here at 9AM for registration and weigh-in. Free registation from now through March 13th.
 
Having a Special Birthday or Anniversary this Year?: If you are celebrating a special birthday milestone (50, 60, 70, etc.) or anniversary milestone (25 years and up), please leave a note in the office so John can send a card of congratulations (we will also put it in the bulletin to recognize your special day if you are okay with that).
 
DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT LIFE will perform at PBL High School Sat. Mar.6 at 6:00 pm and Sun. Mar. 7 at 2:00 pm. Host families are needed for Friday and Saturday nights. Contact John Davenport if you are interested in hosting some youths.
